There are two kinds of readers, the one who are loyal fans of Dan Browns books and then the one who won’t even go close to them. I am the former. I was waiting for the release date of Origin and on the very same day I was in the bookshop to buy it.
Here I am sharing some of my favourite quotes from the books I have recently read.
The aviator’s wife is a novel based on the story of one of the most extraordinary couples – Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh. He made the first solo transatlantic flight and she became the first American woman with a first class glider pilot’s license.
An American woman decides to take an unexpected step in her life and move to a different country. A country so obscure, most of her fellow citizens couldn’t even find on a map.
Lykke is the Danish word for happiness. Danish people have been consistently ranked as the happiest people in the world so this may have been a deciding factor in Mike’s naming of this book. This is his second book, his first one is The little book of Hygge, which is a worldwide bestseller. Meanwhile he is working as the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, so who if not him, can teach us more about how to achieve happiness in our life.
To find the perfect present for a book lover is not an impossible mission. If you think that buying a book is the only option then you are mistaken. There is variety of presents related to the interest of your bookworm.
I am a huge fan of Cecelia Ahern and the moment I saw the cover of Lyrebird I knew that I wanted to read it.
It is fascinating. If I have to use one word to describe the book it would be definitely fascinating.
Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine. She lives in Glasgow, where she works in an office from 9 till 5. Wears the same clothes every day, eats the same meals for lunch and avoids making contacts with others unless it is necessary.
She is happy. She has all that she needs expects she has nothing.
“Perfect” is as interesting as “Flawed”. I was a bit worried because sometimes the first book is more interesting than the second and third, but this isn’t the case here. There are some really unexpected turns and I read the book in one day – literally.
“Flawed” is a YA novel, if you like Hunger games then I am sure that you will like this too.
