Tiffy and Leon share a bed. Tiffy and Leon have never met.
Moore needs a cheap flat, and fast. Leon Twomey works nights and needs cash. Their friends think they’re crazy, but it’s the perfect solution: Leon occupies the one-bed flat while Tiffy’s at work in the day, and she has the run of the place the rest of the time. But with obsessive ex-boyfriends, demanding clients at work, wrongly imprisoned brothers and, of course, the fact that they still haven’t met yet, they’re about to discover that if you want the perfect home you need to throw the rulebook out the window…
Reading The FlatShare is like watching a Hallmark movie on a Sunday afternoon with a coffee in hand and cookies on the table. It has it all, love is in the air and you can feel in after the first few pages. The two vivid characters – Tiffy and Leon – you like both of them instantly. The plot is quite unusual and grabs your attention, you are no longer able to put the book down (change the channel).
The FlatShare is exactly a feel good novel, it’s a mood booster and it should be sold with one of these warnings “if you are not satisfied after reading it we will give you your money back” because I’m sure no one will be looking for a refund.
Funny, heart-warming and charming debut novel by Beth O’Leary and if you like uplifting books then you may consider this one as your next buy.
